Dr. George Carlo Radio Interview: "Your Cell Phone is Dangerous"

Dr. George Carlo is known as the epidemiologist and public health scientist who headed the multimillion dollar research funded by the cell phone industry. The project was launched in 1993 as part of a deal made with Congress to keep the industry from being regulated. After six years, Dr. Carlo’s research yielded alarming findings that linked cell phone radiation to serious health diseases, including cancer. When he submitted his results to the industry executives, he expected that they would do something about it. Instead, they distanced themselves from him and tried to find ways to discredit his research and reputation.

Dr. Carlo has appeared on 20/20, 60 Minutes, World News Tonight, CBS News with Dan Rather and The Today’s Show, as well as on CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC. In July 2006, a documentary film of his work will be released in major theaters.

In this candid interview, Dr. Carlo disclosed not only his research findings that question the safety of cell phone use but also the industry politics and shenanigans that keep cell phones in the market with minimal government intervention. There is no more qualified person to talk about the dangers of cell phone use than the man who headed a multimillion dollar research program into its safety–a program funded by the cell phone industry itself. It took a lot of courage (and still does) for him to go against the corporate giants and risk his career, reputation and even physical safety. This is one interview you do not want to miss! Listen now
